Tom Garasky

President and CEO


As President and CEO, Mr. Garasky is responsible for all primary aspects of the operations of Znth Benefits Consulting Inc., including: product development, business strategy, customer relations, employee recruiting and the management of client financial consulting services. These client financial services include plan and rate analysis, actuarial and underwriting services, carrier negotiations, alternate funding arrangements, enrollment reports, financial evaluations and premium contribution development.

Mr. Garasky has over 30 years experience in the health and welfare employee benefit industry. Prior to heading up Znth Benefits Consulting Inc., Tom was a Partner with Foresight Benefits Advisors. In addition, Tom has worked for two national Health and Welfare consulting practices as a Director of Finance for eBenX, Inc. and a Financial Pricing Consultant for Aon in St. Louis, Missouri.

Prior to entering the consulting industry, Tom spent many years managing actuarial and underwriting departments for Benefit Trust Life Insurance Company, General American Life Insurance Company and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Mathematics and Economics from Youngstown State University.

Tom resides in Kirkwood, Missouri with his wife. Having been a competitive marathon runner, he now enjoys running as a recreational activity.

Kevin E Lynch

Senior Vice President and Partner


With over 35 years of employee benefits experience, Kevin has an integral role on the Znth Benefits Consulting Executive Team. He started his career as an insurance company representative where he established relationships and maintained responsibility for several national and international accounts.

In 2003, Kevin decided to move to the consulting / broker side of Health & Welfare benefits, where he now represents clients of all sizes.

Kevin specializes in consulting, communication and support services for clients in private industry and government organizations. As an “Executive Team Member”, he has worked with client CEOs and CFOs on several projects for Znth Benefits Consulting.

Joseph A Bottani IV

Strategic Alliance: Arch Brokerage, Inc.

Joe is the President and Managing Partner of Arch Brokerage, a full service employee benefit brokerage and consulting firm.

Joe has been insurance licensed since 2000 and has held securities licenses since 2004. Joe serves on the managing partner committee for The BlueChip Consortium agency and has held the roles of Vice President and President for the St. Louis Association of Health Underwriters. He has been involved on a legislative level on the State of Missouri board as well. Joe has a B.A from Boston College majoring in English and Economics and attended Oxford University.

Joe's passion is for working with clients to align their benefit plans with their long-term organizational growth plans.

Julie Muhlhauser

Advisory Consultant


Over the course of Julie’s 37 years in the insurance business, she has had the privilege to work with large employer groups and individuals alike.  Holding different positions in both the insurance carrier and brokerage communities, from Group Service Representative to Vice President of Marketing and Client Services, she has attained a vast knowledge of insurance services. 

Throughout her career she has managed and developed group benefit plans for employers and Health & Welfare Funds with self-funding arrangements, minimum premium stabilization funding, ancillary packages, and specialized programs for high risk illnesses, as well as stand-alone Medicare programs and reimbursement funding. 

Over the last several years, she has worked to obtain comprehensive benefits at affordable pricing for employees that transition from an employer’s group coverage into a stand-alone Medicare health plan.  She currently manages over 1,000 Medicare eligible retirees for a few large employer groups and financial consultants in the St. Louis area.

Julie lives in South St. Louis County. She enjoys attending her son’s high school sporting events before he heads to college in 2019.  She herself also enjoys playing a round of golf, taking long walks, going to the gym and singing in her church choir. Julie has worked in partnership with Znth Benefits Consulting for the last several years and looks forward to their future endeavors.

John Dutemple

FSA, CFA


John has over 20 years of experience in the health care industry. During that time, John became a Fellow Of The Society of Actuaries (FSA), a member of the American Academy Of Actuaries (MAAA) and a CFA Charter holder in 2002.

Prior to becoming a consultant, John held various positions with General American Life Insurance Company / Great West, that included Product Actuary, Financial Analyst and Financial Actuary. As a consultant, when required, John provides financial analysis and actuarial certification services for Znth clients.
